Regulation 1. Citation and commencement.

These regulations may be cited as the Environmental Quality (Licensing) Regulations, 1977 and shall come into force on the 1st October 1977.

Regulation 2. Form of application for licence.

(1) An application for any licence under the Act, or for any renewal or transfer thereof, shall be made to the Director General in Form 1 in the Schedule.

Regulation 3. Form of licence.

A licence under the Act shall be in Form 2 in the Schedule.

Regulation 4. Revocation and suspension of licence.

(1) If the holder of a licence fails to comply with any term or condition of the licence, the Director General may revoke the licence or suspend it for such period as he thinks fit.

Section 18 (1)

Licence to occupy or use prescribed premises.

Licence to emit or discharge wastes into the atmosphere in contravention of the acceptable conditions specified under section 21.

Licence to emit or cause or permit to be emitted any noise greater in volume, intensity, or quality in contravention of the acceptable conditions specified under section 21.

Licence to pollute or cause or permit to be polluted any soil or surface of any land in contravention of the acceptable conditions specified under section 21.

Section 25 (1)

Licence to emit, discharge, or deposit any wastes into any inland waters in contravention of the acceptable conditions specified under section 21.
