Limits the powers that specified officers appointed under the Employment Act 1955 may exercise.
IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 102 (2) (a) of the Employment Act 1955, the Minister makes the following regulations:
Regulation 1. Citation.
These Regulations may be cited as the Employment (Limitation of Power of Officers) Regulations 1993.
Regulation 2. Limitation of powers.
The powers exercisable by officers appointed under section 3 (2) of the Employment Act 1955 shall be subject to the following limitations –
- (a)The officers specified in column (1) of the First Schedule shall not exercise the powers specified in column (2) of the said Schedule; and
- (b)The officers specified in column (1) of the Second Schedule shall not exercise the powers specified in column (2) of the said Schedule except with the prior written permission of the Director General.
Regulation 3. Revocation.
The Employment (Power of Officers) Regulations 1976 is revoked.
