Fire-Fighting Equipment or Fire Safety Installation Regulations 2026: Prescribes equipment and installations that must be registered and the standards applicable to each item.

IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 62(1)(ba) read together with sections 36K and 36L of the Fire Services Act 1988 [Act 341], the Minister makes the following regulations:

Regulation 1. Citation and commencement

• (1)
  These regulations may be cited as the Fire Services (Fire-fighting Equipment or Fire Safety Installation) Regulations 2026.
• (2)
  These Regulations come into operation on 3 February 2026.

Regulation 2. Fire-fighting equipment or fire safety installation

• The fire-fighting equipment or the fire safety installation specified in the Schedule shall be registered in accordance with Part VB of the Act.

Regulation 3. Fee

• Any application to register the fire-fighting equipment or the fire safety installation under regulation 2 shall be accompanied with a fee of five hundred ringgit.
